    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A wonderful family in Brooklyn is seeking a warm, experienced, and dedicated nanny to join their family and care for their daughter who will be 3-months-old.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This will be a live-out position and the schedule will initially be 12-20 hours per week (typically 3–4 days, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM- the candidate will still be paid a full-time salary during this period) this will be for approximately 3-4 months but will be adjusted along the way and evolve into a full-time role (approximately 9am-5pm).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>They are looking for a true partner in their daughter’s development—someone who is energetic, creative, and eager to grow with their family over the years.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Mom works from home and may be around during the day, especially in the beginning, so the candidate should be comfortable with this dynamic.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The position is to start around July 13th.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Full autonomy and responsibility for the baby’s care and safety.</li>\n <li>Washing bottles and sanitizing toys </li>\n <li>Preparing and introducing solids when the time comes </li>\n <li>Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities, including trips to the park, library story times, and developmental play.</li>\n <li>Maintaining the nursery and common play areas, and cleaning up after the baby’s meals.</li>\n <li>Communicating with first-time parents about milestones and development </li>\n <li>Joining the family on trips, including extended stays at our second home in Massachusetts</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in a second language is highly preferred - Italian or German, but they are open to other languages</li>\n <li>To be interested in and available for longer stretches of travel.</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable about infant and childhood development</li>\n <li>Looking for a long-term commitment</li>\n <li>Warm, kind, and loving </li>\n <li>Professional and communicative</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>US work authorization</li>\n <li>Travel ready passport for international travel</li>\n <li>Recent experience caring for infants/toddlers.</li>\n <li>Excellent references from previous families.</li>\n <li>CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to get certified).</li>\n <li>They have a large, friendly dog. No pet care is required, but you must be comfortable sharing the space with her.</li>\n <li>Must be a confident swimmer and have a clean driving record</li>\n <li>Up-to-date on infant vaccines including TDap and MMR, and willing to get annual Covid and Flu boosters</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>$45-$50 per hour </li>\n <li>2 weeks PTO</li>\n <li>Sick/personal days</li>\n <li>$250 monthly health care stipend</li>\n</ul>",
