WORKING CONDITIONS Working hours : This position is full-time. You are expected to work 35 hours per week, over 5 days. Hybrid work arrangement :  Currently, this is a remote position, meaning you will work from your home office location. Travel within the Greater Calgary Area will be required and occasional travel to Edmonton, Vancouver, and the UWW/EXP Toronto office (at least once a year) will also be required. If UWW/EXP secures a Calgary office, you will be required to work from this location at least one (1) day per week, scheduled in coordination with your Manager. You must also be available to report to your assigned office on other days as requested by your Manager. Eligibility to work in Canada : We offer a safe and inclusive workplace for people of all backgrounds and experiences. WHO YOU ARE Reporting to the Regional Manager for Anglophone Canada, the Partner Development and Outreach Specialist is responsible for achieving recruitment and enrollment goals for UWW/EXP’ programs and services. The ideal candidate will (1) build and maintain trusting , meaningful and sustainable relationships with community partners and (2 ) engage in client outreach events and activities to generate program applicants who are committed to taking meaningful steps toward their professional and personal goals via UWW/EXP’ coaching program. This role is responsible for hosting and delivering in-person and virtual presentations to community partners, attending events, and conducting outreach online, in-person, via email, and over the phone to meet our recruitment targets. The role coordinates the marketing, administration, development, delivery, and evaluation of all outreach and community engagement activities while establishing and maintaining working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. WHAT YOU'LL DO Accountabilities: 1. Partnership Development / UWW/EXP Value Proposition: Develop and maintain new and existing partnerships with community agencies, career development organizations, transitional living centers, shelters, drop-in centers, immigrant and health programs and centers and any other community service organizations whose clients can benefit from the services of UWW/EXP. Seek out new relationships by creating appointments and opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, social media tools, and other prospecting techniques. Execute creative follow-up efforts that result in maintaining and establishing trusting meaningful relationships. Plan, organize, and lead a consultative activity development process resulting in a partnership plan to grow the relationship based on the community’s need. Deliver informative and engaging presentations to community partners, and prospective clients virtually and/or in person and build ongoing relationships with community partner agencies and their staff. Network to expand the presence and positive reputation of UWW/EXP. Assist UWW/EXP teams in spreading brand awareness through organizing and participating in lead generation activity including program events, job and immigration fairs, community education efforts, marketing campaigns, and others as required. Plan, organize and help secure guest speakers (e.g., current clients, alumni, volunteer coaches, etc.) for presentations. Monitor implementation of program processes and policies for the purposes of high-quality service delivery and continuous quality improvement Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date agency records in UWW/EXP’s CRM (i.e., SalesForce) Create and maintain program documents and presentations and file them in accordance with UWW/EXP’ policies and procedures. Facilitate positive relations within the program team, with other departments within UWW/EXP, and with stakeholders at large. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of UWW/EXP’s suite of services and value proposition to engage new and existing client referral agency partners. 2. Monitoring and Evaluation: Conduct ongoing data reviews in Salesforce, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data entered regarding partner agencies and key metrics. Support the interpretation of reports as needed regarding key metrics and outcomes. Engage in ongoing review of processes and procedures to make recommendations for the purpose of continuous quality improvement.   3 . Team Collaboration :  You will be working cross-departmentally, supporting: The programs teams in understanding the outcomes of partner development and outreach activities for the purpose of program planning. The management team to effectively resolve issues and respond to sensitive inquiries and concerns from referral partners. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Required: English/French Bilingualism 4+ years of successful value/benefit propagation, relationships building and community outreach experience with a proven track record. Results-driven and demonstrated ability to meet performance targets by deadlines and critical time periods. Experience with the prospecting process and the sales/partner development cycle. Strong expertise in client and community service with an orientation toward innovation and collaboration. Exceptional oral and written skills with a high degree of comfort in face-to-face and virtual meetings, communicating by telephone, in-person, and email to answer inquiries and coordinate details. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain trust-based relationships with a variety of stakeholders including community partners, prospective clients, volunteers, colleagues, and funders. Innovative, adaptable, strategic, and self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently and manage own workload and time. Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high level of sensitivity, resilience, relatability, and emotional intelligence. Strong understanding of the socio-economic barriers faced by people of all backgrounds and the experiences of diverse community members, including women and gender-diverse individuals, people experiencing low-income, people with the lived experience of trauma, people with mental health issues, new Canadians, racialized communities, people with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities. Must be able to travel within the Greater Calgary Area to conduct in-person presentations and attend meetings as required . Proficiency with Microsoft 365, and Salesforce (or other CRM) and the ability to easily learn new digital tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
