The ideal candidate will possess working</p>\n<p>knowledge of plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding, and will be a self-motivated team</p>\n<p>player. This position is approximately 60% mechanical and 40% electrical/other. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Properly troubleshoot, adjust and repair all production and material-handling equipment</p>\n<p>· Perform all tasks and duties necessary for efficient start-ups, daily operation, change-over</p>\n<p>and shut-downs</p>\n<p>· Perform preventative maintenance on and/or repair production machines, heating, cooling</p>\n<p>and steam systems, material-handling equipment, as well as plumbing, electrical and</p>\n<p>hydraulic/pneumatics equipment.</p>\n<p>· Troubleshoot and repair various electrical and mechanical systems</p>\n<p>· Properly record preventative maintenance tasks</p>\n<p>· Complete work orders as required</p>\n<p>· Timely respond to maintenance calls on the production floor</p>\n<p>· Assist in providing installation of new machinery</p>\n<p>· Inventory spare parts and report usage; suggest re-order to maintenance lead</p>\n<p>· Maintain neat and orderly work area, properly maintain tools</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Qualification Requirements</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· High school diploma or equivalent</p>\n<p>· 4+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment</p>\n<p>· Current working knowledge of 480V, 3-phase electricity</p>\n<p>· Experience in troubleshooting and reading electrical/mechanical schematics</p>\n<p>· Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and ability and</p>\n<p>knowledge of gauges and measurements.</p>\n<p>· Possesses hydraulic & pneumatic repair experience</p>\n<p>· Experience with programmable controllers (PLC’s) and Honeywell process controls a plus</p>\n<p>· Machining, welding, fabrication and millwright experience is a plus</p>\n<p>· Ability to communicate with production operators and other maintenance technicians to be</p>\n<p>able to explain mechanical processes and root causes</p>\n<p>· Strong focus on safety and quality</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> · Must be able to walk, bend, pull and push without assistance (example: brace, cane) </p>\n<p>· Capable of walking and standing for up to twelve (12) hours per day </p>\n<p>· Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment</p>\n<p> · Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel material</p>\n<p> · Constant use of hand/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel or handle and manipulate parts and tools </p>\n<p>· Constant requirement of specific vision abilities including close vision, distant vision, depth perception </p>\n<p>· Constantly wear appropriate PPE including but not limited to eye and foot protection</p>\n<p> · Ability to work in extreme temperatures, and around machinery and chemicals </p>\n<p>· Ability to lift to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques and Company-provided equipment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> This job description does not state or imply that all duties to be performed are specifically identified above.
