    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Our teams shape strategic initiatives, have passion, and work to improve health outcomes.&nbsp;They advance our mission and exemplify excellence, compassion, teamwork and purpose in all that they do.<i>&nbsp;</i>Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Purchasing Management team in the role of Procurement Specialist.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>This position is full time, hybrid role located at the Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(152, 30, 50); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt;\"><strong>Role Responsibilities</strong></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">This role secures the acquisition and disposal of goods, services and equipment for all of IU Health.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Effectively coordinates all procurement activities between all relevant internal and external parties to include requester, SCM contracts, SCM business applications, SCM operations and logistics, accounts payable, suppliers and other support staff.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Reviews, processes and prioritizes requisitions, system and manual purchase orders, capital acquisitions, and ensures vendor returns are processed in a timely manner.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Builds relationships with suppliers to ensure deliverables and invoice resolutions are met.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Provides supplier performance feedback for SCM business reviews.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Works under limited guidance on problems using resources and independent judgement to make decisions.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Ensures all efforts are exhausted to obtain quality, service and capital purchases on time and at the best price.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Ensures goods and capital acquisitions have been secured by closely monitoring open orders and communicating to all internal and external parities as needed.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(152, 30, 50); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt;\"><strong>Candidate Qualifications</strong></span></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.</span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38);\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">High School Diploma/GED is required.
