    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.</li>\n <li>Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.</li>\n <li>Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.</li>\n <li>Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.</li>\n <li>Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.</li>\n <li>Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.</li>\n <li>Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.</li>\n <li>May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of related work experience</p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $170,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
