The ideal candidate will have professional experience and developed skills in designing electrical building systems, and a demonstrated ability to effectively contribute to projects from the initial design through final construction. The Electrical Engineer II will thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment, contributing directly to the execution of our mission and vision. The Electrical Engineer II will report directly to the Electrical Team Manager and Principal in Charge (PIC). <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This opportunity is available at our Pittsburgh or Portersville offices.</span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Engineer Priorities</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the preparation, development and design of commercial and industrial electrical power systems on a variety of MEP projects using applicable codes and company standards, practices, and procedures.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the electrical and project team members on all projects</li>\n<li>Prepare technical reports, edit specifications, and assist with power coordination studies</li>\n<li>Participate in the QA/QC process, milestone design review and inter-discipline cross checking</li>\n<li>Coordinate and manage time to work on multiple projects concurrently</li>\n<li>Review and weigh in on contractor RFIs, material submissions, shop drawings and support project &amp; construction management teams</li>\n<li>Participate in team meetings and design roundtables to improve internal processes<br></li>\n<li>Be a contributor to the overall business development of the company</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Need</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Bachelors in Electrical or Architectural Engineering</span></li>\n<li><span>Minimum 5+ years of post-graduation experience designing electrical systems for various MEP markets (Commercial, Education, Healthcare, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span>Work experience in architectural and building construction industry</span></li>\n<li><span>Professional experience on MEP projects from design through final building construction</span></li>\n<li><span>Developed knowledge of building, utility, and energy codes</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD and Revit required</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrated high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and self awareness</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborative and a strong desire to develop both self and others</span></li>\n<li><span>Possesses excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure preferred</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Why WNA</em></span></p>\n<p>Our firm continues to thrive in an ever-competitive industry where reputation matters.
