Description

Job Summary/Objective: The Senior Director of Operations & Analytics is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of commercial infrastructure, processes and systems to support the commercial effectiveness of the Neurelis Sales & Marketing organization. Responsibilities include commercial analytics and insights, data strategy, sales force deployment and optimization, targeting, forecasting, market research, sales analysis and data reporting, field team incentive compensation, sales force automation, aggregate spend reporting, marketing operations and vendor and budget management. Essential Job Functions: Work closely with commercial leadership to build and maintain product forecasts for the organization. Develops KPls to track and measure organizational success. Identify, lead and manage the information and analysis needs of the commercial organization. Lead and manage a team to conduct the following: Manage sales force alignments and work with sales leadership to optimize sales force deployment and targeting. Design and administer motivational Incentive Compensation (IC) plans for the field sales teams and account managers. Develop, manage, and distribute sales and activity reports for the sales and marketing organizations. Provide ROI analyses and measure impact of commercial initiatives to optimize commercial strategies/tactics and increase productivity. Capture, collect, and process data for timely submission of state and federal aggregate spend reports. Support the company annual strategic and brand planning process. Competency (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Continually evaluate and improve processes and systems to support commercial initiatives. Serve as a player-coach with responsibilities of an individual contributor who rolls up their sleeves to contribute to departmental output while setting priorities and developing team members to achieve organizational goals. Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, Medical, and Executive team. Highly skilled in analyzing, processing, and internalizing multiple datasets from various internal and external sources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office (Ecel, Word, PPT) and Tableau. Personal Performance Factors: Demonstrates strong work ethic. Shows initiative and holds themselves accountable. Lives and advances the Neurelis culture and values. Always operates with a high degree of integrity and tact. Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making ability. Management Responsibilities and Skills: This position currently oversees direct reports; responsibilities and skill include: Demonstrates ability to conduct successful meetings. Demonstrates good analytical skills to evaluate the business. Demonstrates good overall knowledge of key business and market issues. Demonstrates ability to hold the team to consistent and well understood standards. Demonstrates good teamwork at meetings and when working on projects with others. Demonstrates leadership with subordinates to achieve individual and collective goals. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Office Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Spends approximately 90% of work time sitting and meeting with others or working at a desk and/or computer. Spends approximately 10% of work time standing or walking within the work area or at meetings and bends, twists, stoops and reaches. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 15% Overnight travel required? Yes
