    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Lifeline</span> <br>In 1997, a group of volunteers with a heart for human life founded what is now known as Lifeline. Their vision - to create a Christ-centered resource for anyone affected by an unexpected pregnancy. Did they have any idea how that vision would take root in Kirksville and reach its branches across Northeast Missouri? Lifeline's mission - to compassionately cultivate life through tangible support, relationship skills, and education. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Lifeline currently serves over 250 clients and 9,000 public school students a year. Our goal is to provide support and tangible resources to new moms and dads as they progress through pregnancy and into parenthood. From pregnancy tests and ultrasounds to abuse prevention education programs reaching thousands of teens in over 50 schools, Lifeline extends numerous opportunities for all to experience abundant life. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We exist to save and change lives. We’d love to have you aboard our mission to bring hope to families all over Northeast Missouri.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Educator Job Description:</span></p>\n<p>Lifeline educators travel to regional middle and high schools teaching 5th – 12th-grade students about healthy relationship skills, abuse prevention, and sexual health. The educator works with teachers, administrators, counselors, nurses, and students to ensure that teens receive an optimal health, primary-prevention education aimed at encouraging teens to choose healthy behaviors and avoid sexual risk. Lifeline's school-based education program is based on a community-saturation model conducted in over 17 counties across Missouri and Iowa. The candidate will be well organized, self-motivated, personable, and enjoy classroom presenting. They should enjoy working with pre-teen and teenage groups and have the ability to clearly and persuasively convey the program content. This position commitment requires a minimum of two full academic years. This position is 36 hours weekly average, in-person in Kirksville, MO.
