The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our barges, ensuring they are in optimal condition for operations. This role requires a commitment to safety standards and the ability to work in a marine environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of barges using high pressure pumps, hoses, and attachments, including the interior and exterior.</li><li>Removing debris, sludge, and waste materials, using a bobcat, brooms, and shovels, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.</li><li>Utilizing appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to effectively clean surfaces.</li><li>Inspecting barges for damage or maintenance needs and report findings to the supervisor.</li><li>Performing minor barge repairs such as fiberglass and stick welding&#xa0;</li><li>Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Assisting in the preparation of barges for loading and unloading operations.</li><li>Collaborating with crew members and other departments as needed.</li><li>Performing other duties as requested</li></ul>",
