These medical offices offer medical and surgical treatment for ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions for both adult and pediatric patients. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>$750 hiring bonus available to certified Medical Assistants!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Clinical Care Coordinator I (Medical A   Cancel ssistant) work directly with patients and assist healthcare providers with day‑to‑day clinical care, such as:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Preparing patients for exams and procedures</p></li>\n <li><p>Escorting patients to exam rooms</p></li>\n <li><p>Taking vitals </p></li>\n <li>Recording medical histories and current concerns. </li>\n <li>Document provider notes, procedures and patient instructions. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>*Please note that once you apply - you will be sent a clinical assessment that is required to complete online. You will receive an email with instructions (system is called Relias). </em></p>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>*Medical Assistant Requirements (Clinical Care Coordinator I): </strong></p>\n<p>Requires current certification as a <strong>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by</strong>:</p>\n<p>-American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),</p>\n<p>-National Healthcare Association (NHA)</p>\n<p>-National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) </p>\n<p><strong>OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by: </strong></p>\n<p>-American Medical Technologists (AMT)</p>\n<p>-Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)</p>\n<p>-National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Note: Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, <strong>and</strong> with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, <strong>or without certification</strong>, <u>agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire</u>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Test for certification may be beyond the six (6) month date.</p>\n<p>Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Mandatory Education</h2>\n<p>High School Diploma, GED or Certificate</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*Please note that a copy or photo of your High School Diploma or GED is required prior to start - or transcripts showing date of completion/graduation (this is collected during our onboarding process). </em></p>\n<h2>Required License and Certs</h2>\n<p>- Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*We accept BLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. </em></p>\n<h2>Work Days/Shift/Start Time</h2>\n<p><strong>*Monday – Friday. </strong></p>\n<p><strong>*Day shift:  Shifts times may vary (between 7:45 AM and 5:00PM)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>*8 hour shifts. </strong></p>\n<p><strong>*No weekend or Holidays. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Employment Screening Requirements</h2>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/",
