This exciting ownership positions us for continued impacts and growth in the future.</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions & Responsibilities </h2>\n<p><strong>EHS Manager, Regional Service Delivery  </strong><strong></strong>The EHS Manager will lead, develop and direct the environmental, health and safety programs regionally across the organization’s Service Delivery function. This role oversees conformance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and Company policies, along with leading their respective region toward improved safety performance in conjunction with Arcwood leadership.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The EHS Manager will promote a strong behavior-based safety culture through proactive approaches that align with Arcwood’s core values and safety principles.  This role covers the Gulf Coast Region including Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma. Regular travel is required.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times</li>\n <li>Establishes and facilitates Company-wide environmental, health and safety initiatives throughout an assigned region </li>\n <li>Builds a behavior-based safety culture through communications, employee involvement and ownership, and actions taken </li>\n <li>Implements safety leadership training to improve overall execution of safe practices </li>\n <li>Provides technical leadership and guidance to all departments when required regarding environmental, health and safety questions or issues </li>\n <li>Monitors and measures Company safety performance using key metrics with a focus on leading indicators </li>\n <li>Develops and maintains Company safety improvement plans</li>\n <li>Leads continuous improvement training content development and management to further educate team members </li>\n <li>Develops and implements policies and procedures, in conjunction with Corporate guidance, to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices</li>\n <li>Implements and enhances an organizational incident management system </li>\n <li>Maintains responsibility for ensuring locations are audit-ready, both internal and external, to ensure conformance with environmental, health and safety requirements and Corporate policies </li>\n <li>Identifies corrective and preventative action needs through audit, incident investigation, and observation/near-miss data trending </li>\n <li>Provides Corporate assistance in controlling losses from injuries, liabilities, and property losses</li>\n <li>Coordinates efforts with occupational medical facilities to ensure treatment protocols and return-to-work programs are established and adhered to</li>\n <li>Provides guidance and support for medical surveillance activities, annual physical programs, and industrial hygiene monitoring surveys </li>\n <li>Represents the organization with OSHA and other regulatory officials regarding inspections and investigations </li>\n <li>Maintains the ability to travel regionally to Arcwood facilities, up to 50% of the time</li>\n <li>Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education </h2>- Bachelor’s degree in health and safety management (required) - Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification (preferred)\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience working in EHS-related programs (required) -OR-</li>\n <li>In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience working in EHS-related programs (required) </li>\n <li>Previous experience working with chemical safety practices (required) </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity</h2>Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
