In July 2024, GMIN acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, GMIN Ventures Guyana Inc. is seeking expressions of interest for the position of:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We are looking for a skilled and reliable Scaffolder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures to ensure safe access for construction and maintenance work. The successful candidate should have experience working at heights, a strong understanding of safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Erect, modify, inspect, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with approved designs and safety regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist in the safe transportation, sorting, and placement of scaffolding materials and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure scaffolding systems are properly secured, levelled, braced, and compliant with site requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conduct pre-use inspections and identify defects or hazards associated with scaffolding structures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Install guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, and fall-protection systems as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and trades personnel to ensure scaffolding requirements are met efficiently and safely.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas and ensure scaffold components are stored properly.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with loading, unloading, and inventory control of scaffolding materials.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Skills and Experience</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">High School Diploma/CSEC</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Previous experience in scaffolding, construction, industrial, mining, or heavy industrial environments preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with ringlock scaffolding systems would be an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience erecting and dismantling various scaffold systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of scaffold safety standards, inspections, and fall-protection requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings and work instructions is an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Clearly document work completed and report issues encountered.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Other duties are required</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Working Conditions</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Position based at the OKO Project site - Fly-in/Fly-out</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Work Schedule – 14 days on/7 days off</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Transportation, accommodation, and meals are provided on site</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Compensation Package</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Fixed Term Contract</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Competitive salary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
