    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital</strong> is an 80-bed hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, that provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment for adolescents 13-17 and adults ages 18 and older who are struggling with a mental health concern or a dual diagnosis.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for an accomplished <strong>Full Time</strong> <strong>Medical Director</strong> -<strong>Child/Adolescent psychologis</strong>t to lead our team at Glenwood Behavioral Health, a leading provider of <strong>acute behavioral</strong> healthcare services. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>For more information, please contact Jaylen H at [email protected] or call/text 404-716-7794.</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for leadership, quality assurance, supervision and overall medical management of the facility within the boundaries of state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Summary</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the quality, efficiency and management of delivering services within a facility.</li>\n <li>Define protocols and assist in decision making pertaining to the medical and clinical care of patients.</li>\n <li>Provide direct patient care and assist other departments with direct interactions with physician's staff.</li>\n <li>Directly supervise other professional clinical staff, as well as administrative or support staff.</li>\n <li>Serve as a liaison between the medical staff and other staff within the facility, division or corporate staff, and organizational leadership.</li>\n <li>Monitor and supervise assigned staff to adherence to established medical and clinical policy.</li>\n <li>Provide back up call coverage.</li>\n <li>Serve in a teaching capacity for the training and development of other personnel.</li>\n <li>Secure physical exam and history from the patients.</li>\n <li>Request appropriate diagnostic testing, clinical evaluation, and prescribe medications and treatments.</li>\n <li>Assist in the management of behavioral or mental health problems of patients and maintain current clinical medical records in accordance with federal or state regulation and industry practice, as well as facility, clinic or corporate policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Manage the finances and revenue of the facility including budgets, billing and spending.</li>\n <li>Develop organizational goals and objectives and devise strategies and policies to meet those goals.</li>\n <li>Develop, approve, implement and update the general policies, protocols and procedures of the facility.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.</li>\n <li>Board certified in Psychiatry required.</li>\n <li>Previous experience as a Medical Director preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine by the state in which the facility operates.</li>\n <li>Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Acadia Healthcare Network</strong></p>\n<p>~23,500 Employees · ~11,400 Beds · 258 Locations · 38 States · 1 Network</p>\n<p>As a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in the United States and Puerto Rico, Acadia Healthcare operates 258 treatment facilities across 38 states.
