We must have every employee, and particularly our drivers, working diligently every day to satisfy all the unique service requirements of our customers. It takes a total commitment to excellence to achieve the goals created by our operating philosphy.</p><p id=\"isPasted\">Are you able to...</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform a pre-trip inspection daily before the start of your trip.</li><li>Ensure that all pick up and drop off appointments are met in a safe and timely manner.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure the proper safety restraints (safety belts) are in place for both you, the driver, and the passenger(s)</li><li>Upon arrival at the destination, ensure that customer is properly received by an assigned representative, parent, or guardian.</li><li>Ensure that you are not engaging in profanity, threatening or coercing, or vulgar language with the passengers.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ensure that you are fully completing the required documentation in K&amp;P Medical Transport&rsquo;s driver dispatch software, ParaScope.</li><li>Ensure that you are fully obeying the driving laws of each state in which you operate the vehicle.</li><li>Report any malfunctions that occur to the vehicles while in operation are reported to the Vice President.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of K&amp;P Medical Transport.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Do you have the following skill set?</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Basic knowledge of driving laws.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with passenger(s).</li><li>Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently enough to converse with the general public.</li><li>Ability to safely operate the type of motor vehicle he or she is assigned.</li><li>Ability to determine whether the customer is secured in the motor vehicle.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>As a K&amp;P Medical Transport Driver, we do have special requirements for you to meet.</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to drive in all weather conditions and times of the day (day and night driving), when it is deemed safe to do so.</li><li>Must be available to work/drive on short notice.</li><li>Must be able to work weekends and/or holidays as necessary.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>Must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience in the last 5 years.</li><li>Must not have more than 3 moving violations in a 3-year period.</li><li>Must not have a felony conviction.</li><li>Must not have had a DWI/DUI or any other drug or alcohol related conviction in the previous 5 years.</li><li>Must be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle.</li><li>Must not be disqualified to drive a motor vehicle under the rules in sec. 391.15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.</li><li>Must meet the requirements in part 382 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook (Controlled Substances and Alcohol Use and Testing).</li></ul><p>#ZR</p></div></div></div></div>\n    </div>\n  \n",
