    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>*Required Certification: Certified Athletic Trainer Certification</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>*Highly preferred: Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>The Exercise Physiologist assists participants in Rehabilitation program in achieving his/her optimal functional capacity through exercise, education, and risk factor modification.</li><li>This role provides appropriate assessments, interventions and evaluation of patients with consideration of developmental milestones.</li><li>Identifies safety concerns in age-related population and institutes appropriate measures.</li><li>Monitors cardiac dysrhythmia.</li><li>Conducts new participant orientation.</li><li>Documents timely and accurately participant activities, progress, and patient education provided.</li><li>Utilizes appropriate resources regarding participant problems or unusual responses to exercise.</li><li>Cleans and stocks work area.</li><li>Trains new employees and offers assistance to less experienced employees.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>",
