    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The <strong>FM Technical Specialist</strong> will assist the Gilbane FMS Technical Consultant on space/equipment data collection, formatting and preparation for upload into the Customer’s Maintenance Management system. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>***Ability to travel required, approximately 60% of job locations will require travel***</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform field surveys of rooms and equipment in new and existing buildings.</li>\n <li>Use of 360 cameras, Matterport cameras and iPad/cell phones in the data collection process.</li>\n <li>Accessing equipment at various heights, using ladders and lifts as needed (training provided)</li>\n <li>Adherence to all safety rules on job sites.</li>\n <li>Formatting of data collected, using tools like MS Excel, MS Access, etc.</li>\n <li>Using constructions drawings to locate/identify rooms/equipment on the job sites.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>KEY COMPETENCIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Communicate Effectively</strong> - Listen to understand and clearly convey information in all forms based on the audience to ensure shared meaning of the message</li>\n <li><strong>Act Inclusively</strong> - Ensure that actions and behaviors are respectful; show empathy and treat others with dignity. Create a sense of individual ownership and accountability.</li>\n <li><strong>Champion Innovation</strong> - Identify opportunities for new and improved ways of doing things that result in value added, unique and differentiated solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>AAS in Architectural/Mechanical Design</li>\n <li>Or equivalent experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions of Technical Consultants</li>\n <li>Ability to travel, approximately 60% of job locations will require travel</li>\n <li>Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access and other data formatting/processing tools</li>\n <li>Proficiency with MS Project, MS Visio</li>\n <li>Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks</li>\n <li>Ability to read engineering/construction drawings</li>\n <li>Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines for construction sites</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.</p>\n<p>The pay ranges from $50,000.00-$60,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
