    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span>Job Duties: Vice President, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New&nbsp;</span><span>York, New York. Develop, enhance, support and maintain the Firm’s software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design and develop software components to process structured and unstructured datasets for analytical and operational purposes. Design and implement high-quality, scalable and thoughtful technology solutions leveraging both internal and open-source services. Build and maintain data processing pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and storage. Own requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration and regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment. Apply statistical modeling to analyze system performance metric and optimize throughput, latency, and reliability. Work with internal teams to develop solution designs. Identify new external technologies that can be used to transform our financial businesses and internal platforms in innovative and disruptive ways. Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory requirements. Design, implement and maintain robust testing suites to enable safe, complete, and scalable solutions across our business lines. Perform statistical analysis on transaction patterns to identify anomalies and behavioral signals. Train and mentor junior team members.</span></p>\n<p><span>Job Requirements:&nbsp;Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role.&nbsp;Prior employment must include three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with 5 of the 7 following skills:&nbsp;C++ or Java; full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within UNIX environment; programming technologies including Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka; relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle; micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies; and database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.</span></p>\n<p><span>Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position $190,000 - $259,800.</span></p>\n<p><span>©The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., </span><span>2026</span><span>.
