    "description": "<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>To ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by attending to the beverage needs of the guests in an efficient and courteous way.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&#160;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&#160;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&#160;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Set up bar, unlock liquor, prepare glassware, juices and garnish</li>\r\n\t<li>Accept drink orders in proper calling order to keep service at the bar at optimum level of service for our guests.</li>\r\n\t<li>Make and serve drinks to guests.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow all procedures and policies regarding beverage controls as prescribed by standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure all drinks are rung up properly.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be fully responsible and accountable for an issued bank.</li>\r\n\t<li>Fill out liquor requisitions and supply list.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow proper procedures for ringing guest checks and cash collecting procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Make sure established pars are maintained.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep all bar areas neat and clean.</li>\r\n\t<li>Observe Clean-As-You-Go policy.</li>\r\n\t<li>Pick-up your bank and guest checks for prescribed area.</li>\r\n\t<li>Set up your bar.</li>\r\n\t<li>Break down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly.</li>\r\n\t<li>Make cocktails in accordance with beverage standards using the Berg system, standard jigger as applicable. NO FREE POURING!</li>\r\n\t<li>Attend department meetings.</li>\r\n\t<li>Work safely at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be flexible in regard to work schedule.</li>\r\n\t<li>Report to work on time and in proper and clean uniform, including name tag.</li>\r\n\t<li>Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules and standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Conform to cash handling procedures at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations. Be up to date with all changes, new procedures and events.</li>\r\n\t<li>Have knowledge about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the hotel.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist fellow associates in their jobs when able to improve daily operations of the hotel.</li>\r\n\t<li>Have knowledge about all emergency procedures and know how to act on them.</li>\r\n\t<li>Have knowledge about the city, the local area and attractions to provide the guests with all requested information.</li>\r\n\t<li>When leaving the bar area, it is mandatory for the cashier to lock his/her bank so the cash is secured.</li>\r\n\t<li>Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Greet all guests immediately and offer assistance before the guest needs to ask.
