Headquartered in Cordova, TN, Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture formed in October 2008 between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company.  Stratas Foods is built on the combined strengths and expertise of these two great parent companies, laid down over the course of over 200 years of combined experience.  Stratas will continue to build on this foundation of excellence by providing value added, branded and custom formulated fats and oils solutions to the Food Service, Food Ingredient and Retail sectors.  At Stratas Foods we are committed to being the most valued supplier of fats, oils, dressings, mayonnaise and salad dressings to the private label retail bottled oils market in the United States. The forklift operator will be driving electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.  This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP, Safety, Regulatory and Company procedures and policies.  Forklift Operator Responsibilities: Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus. Use scanning equipment to properly allocate all materials and products appropriately. Position forks under loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to designated area.  Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices. Follow GMP’s and safety guidelines. Pick customer orders as required. Inventory material on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed. Inspect trailers prior to loading and unloading product.  Document onto proper form. Load and unload trucks and trailers. Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting devices. Inspect truck daily and fill out operational checklists, recharge batteries.
