    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Roles and Responsibilities:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prioritizing and organizing the team workloads to meet MEC KPI goals.</li>\n<li>Key communicator with the customers and vendors</li>\n<li>Confirm shipment profitability and escalate any loss and low profit files.</li>\n<li>Managing CNS Report</li>\n<li>Submitting RFQ to gain new business or to maintain current business</li>\n<li>Supervising Air Export Team and POC for escalations</li>\n<li>Quality control checks on making sure all export documentation is correct, Including Customs filing and TSA verification</li>\n<li>Monitoring Vendors Performance</li>\n<li>Working and Training Air Export team so that they can achieve their performance goals.</li>\n<li>Review Dangerous Goods shipments in order to make sure we are compliant with Airlines restrictions</li>\n<li>Supporting department in reducing cost for more profitability</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span><br>1. Minimum of B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university: or a combination of<br>an A.A. degree of similar emphasis, combined with an increased amount of<br>industry/company experience may be substituted.<br>2. Minimum of five years’ experience in key phases of the freight-forwarding industry, focus in<br>Air Export, with half of that total in a functional group supervisory role.<br>3. Knowledge of carrier contracts and tariffs and federal and state government carrier<br>regulations.<br>4. Knowledge of export licenses and Carnet procedures.<br>5. Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, dependable, persistence, time management,<br>independent, documentation skills, scheduling and reporting skills.<br>6. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors.<br>7. Experience in Sales is a plus.<br>8.
