    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">DAG Architects is seeking a full-time <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Interior Designer </span>to lead interior design projects from concept through completion, overseeing design development, client coordination, and project delivery. This role involves making key design decisions, managing budgets and timelines, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring design quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties/Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage projects from initial client meetings to final walkthroughs, translating needs into designs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate on multiple projects concurrently, including programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Prepare accurate contract documents such as floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, millwork drawings, furniture layouts, finish plans, and schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Research manufacturers and assist in the selection of colors, finishes, materials, furniture, and lighting, with a focus on sustainable solutions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create presentation materials, diagrams, and physical and mostly digital models for client presentations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support project teams and studio initiatives, collaborating with consultants and partners as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Mentor and supervise junior designers.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Skills/Abilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Exposure to sustainable design practices and materials</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience working on small to mid-size commercial projects including education, hospitality, multi-family, healthcare and more.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field from CIDA accredited program</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">8-10 years of professional experience (internship experience acceptable)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must have NCIDQ certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Professional experience and proficient Senior design software (SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion. Enscape, Adobe Suite)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong knowledge of construction documentation and detailing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of FF&amp;E, materials, and finish specifications</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds<br>Only candidates that apply directly will be considered.
