Vehicle Solutions is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of multiple Vehicle applications and services, which are utilized by various other business and IT domains. This <strong>IT Manager</strong> will lead a team of IT Engineers, focusing on developing their skills and enhancing productivity. Additionally they will be responsible for cross-team collaboration, gaining alignment, and ensuring deliverable deadlines are met. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an <strong>IT Manager in Vehicle Solutions, Product Health and Optimization</strong>, we are seeking an exceptional and proactive leader who will lead by example, embraces a Product-centric Mindset and ensures that every decision and action drives value and long-term success. This Department manages both Operational Support of our many Products and Solutions, but also develops enhancements through our Optimization team as we partner closely with Business and Product. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will be responsible for defining the goals, objectives, processes, and resources to support the overall strategic vision of the Vehicle Solutions team. You will manage building IT Product Roadmaps to ensure the health and security of multiple Products within Vehicle Solutions while collaborating with other IT, Product and Business Teams to identify, mitigate and resolve production issues. You will lead people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, performance, and salary reviews.  You will be responsible for developing and retaining strong performers and preparing them for future responsibilities. You will play a critical role in production health and support and will be responsible for managing a diverse team of professionals including Engineers. You will also help identify, develop, and implement policies, standards and procedures that support team activities and lead individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Must have a professional attitude, a strong desire and ability to take ownership, ability to provide high quality customer service, and a willingness to expend extra effort to achieve optimal results</li>\n <li>Must have ability to effectively lead teams in executing on and pivoting between multiple simultaneous high-priority efforts</li>\n <li>Display leadership, team centric skills and ability to solve complex problems</li>\n <li>Strong personal management skills emphasizing time management, organization and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Must be able to identify gaps and/or barriers to success, and articulate those findings to leadership</li>\n <li>Excellent at building and maintaining relationships across and outside of IT</li>\n <li>Must be able to effectively manage problems and conflicts as they occur</li>\n <li>Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving and time management skills</li>\n <li>Product Centric Mindset with the ability to align initiatives with long-term goals while pivoting effectively in dynamic environments.</li>\n <li>Understanding of cost-benefit analysis and resource optimization to deliver sustainable value.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future</li>\n <li>Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area</li>\n <li>6+ years of related experience</li>\n <li>2+ years of IT project management experience</li>\n <li>2+ years of experience leading and motivating teams in an IT Production Support or Optimization environment</li>\n <li>Experience having direct reports where you are responsible for 1 on 1's, employee development, hiring, and performance management  </li>\n <li>Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate periodic after-hours and weekend response to incidents when necessary</li>\n <li>Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred</li>\n <li>Experience leading an application development team  </li>\n <li>Experience in large scale or high transactional volume applications is strongly preferred </li>\n <li>Understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle is preferred</li>\n</ul>",
