If you’re looking for a role where you can build real expertise, grow your career, and experience something new every day, this is the opportunity for you.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced <strong>Senior Water Treatment Mechanic</strong> to perform advanced-level work in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water treatment systems and related infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technical maintenance tasks and projects to support optimal plant operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform complex maintenance, repair, and installation of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, chemical feed systems, and other treatment equipment.</li>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints and P&ID’s, electrical knowledge, basic plumbing skills, instrumentation and field setup-up and commissioning.</li>\n <li>Diagnosing equipment and systems issues.</li>\n <li>Assist with the planning and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programs.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with operations staff to support continuous plant performance and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Monitors operational performance of mechanical systems and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory performance standards.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records and reports related to water operations, including production data, maintenance logs, and regulatory documentation.</li>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints and P&ID's, electrical knowledge, basic plumbing skills, instrumentation and field set-up and commissioning.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and training to entry-level technicians and staff professionals as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in water treatment operations is preferred.</li>\n <li>3-8 years of experience in hands-on water and/or wastewater treatment experience.</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of equipment operations and maintenance.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.</li>\n <li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in computer applications for data management and reporting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality water services to our community in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area.
