The Accounting Controller also provides leadership to the accounting team while fostering continuous improvement, collaboration, and financial integrity throughout the organization.</p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS and/or GAAP, as well as internal financial policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Provide technical accounting expertise in complex areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.</li>\n <li>Manage and review intercompany reconciliations, transactions, and eliminations across multiple business units and regions.</li>\n <li>Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with Finance and operational leadership teams.</li>\n <li>Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting functions to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.</li>\n <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with departments and regional teams to support operational and financial objectives.</li>\n <li>Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities to maintain financial integrity and reporting accuracy.</li>\n <li>Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls and financial processes to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and support audit readiness.</li>\n <li>Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, banking partners, and regulatory compliance matters.</li>\n <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, including performance management, coaching, and succession planning.</li>\n <li>Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, standardization, and operational efficiencies across the finance and accounting function.</li>\n <li>Partner closely with FP&A, Tax, Legal, Operations, and banking institutions to support strategic initiatives and business growth.</li>\n <li>Provide strong leadership and stakeholder management by effectively communicating financial insights, influencing decision-making, and building collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.</li>\n <li>Perform other assigned duties.</li>\n <li>Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Must follow <u>G</u>ood <u>M</u>anufacturing <u>P</u>ractices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.</li>\n <li>Comply with all Company policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities</li>\n <li>CPA designation required</li>\n <li>Extensive experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, QAD, SAP ERP, or similar platforms</li>\n <li>Advanced systems and data analysis skills, including Excel and financial reporting tools</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities</li>\n <li>Support business decisions with accurate financial data</li>\n <li>Demonstrated process improvement and continuous improvement mindset</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, particularly during month-end close </li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, email communications, and presentations effectively.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy </li>\n <li>Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Always work indoors.</li>\n <li>Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting and temperature.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li>\n <li>Sitting involved. </li>\n <li>May repeat the same movement.</li>\n <li>Typing involved.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At <strong>Snackruptors Inc</strong>, we truly care about our employees and are committed to their well-being and growth.
