We've been around since 1971 and are noted as an organization practicing integrity in our commitment to ethical and meaningful client care. Our mission is to improve the welfare of the community by providing first-class substance use disorder treatment to adults and families seeking freedom from the bondage of addiction, and we live out that mission everyday with our staff and clients.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>CRI-Help is an amazing organization to be a part of and I strongly encourage you to consider joining the team! Working at Socorro affords one the opportunity to provide services to a largely overlooked and underserved population in their own language, which is a loving exemplification of meeting someone where they're at. Socorro is a special place, and we look forward to growing the community there with qualified and dedicated individuals eager to bring forth their best in today's climate where substance use disorder treatment services are direly needed more than ever before.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you're interested in hearing more, please read the job description below:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Basic Function</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate therapeutic and / or educational groups, using evidence-based practices, writing competent individual group notes for each client on a daily basis.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate groups.</li>\n<li>Write individualized, client-centered Group notes, which show fidelity to the Evidence-Based Practices used in the group.</li>\n<li>Complete other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills / Knowledge</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have knowledge of Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques.</li>\n<li>Must have knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.</li>\n<li>Must be familiar with the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and / or Narcotics Anonymous.</li>\n<li>Must be able to communicate well with staff and clients.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in English reading and writing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education / Training</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a High School diploma, or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Must be registered or certified with one of the state-approved addiction counselor certification entities (e.g. CADTP, CAADE, or CCAPP) or be master’s level BBS registered.</li>\n<li>Must be bilingual (English / Spanish).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have prior group facilitation experience, or, if no prior experience, must be willing to learn upon hire.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Special Conditions</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be willing to undergo random drug screenings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Working Conditions</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Occasional ascending and descending stairs.</span></li>\n<li><span>Frequent sitting for prolonged periods.</span></li>\n<li><span>Occasional crouching below the waist and / or above the shoulders.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Occasional work may be performed at various locations across Los Angeles County.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Type: Full-time</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k)</li>\n<li>401(k) matching</li>\n<li>Dental insurance</li>\n<li>Employee assistance program</li>\n<li>Flexible schedule</li>\n<li>80% - 100% Paid Health insurance</li>\n<li>Life insurance</li>\n<li>Paid time off</li>\n<li>Vision insurance<br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul></ul>",
