The Safety Representative ensures consistent safety standards, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across assigned site(s) and shift operations.</p>\r\n\r\n<hr />\r\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Shift-Based Safety Coverage</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Provide real-time safety support across assigned shift operations</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain strong floor presence to monitor PPE compliance, safety practices, and GMP standards</li>\r\n\t<li>Act as first responder to incidents, ensuring proper response, escalation, and documentation</li>\r\n\t<li>Reinforce safe behaviors through coaching and employee engagement</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Incident Management &amp; Investigations</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Lead investigations for incidents, injuries, and near misses</li>\r\n\t<li>Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)</li>\r\n\t<li>Partner with leadership to ensure timely resolution and accountability</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain accurate and detailed incident documentation</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Site Ownership &amp; Auditing</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Own safety compliance and performance for assigned location(s)</li>\r\n\t<li>Conduct internal audits using tools such as iAuditor/Safety Culture</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure readiness for OSHA, SMETA/SEDEX, SQF, and internal audits</li>\r\n\t<li>Track corrective actions and drive completion</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitor safety KPIs, including TRIR and incident trends</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Safety Programs &amp; Compliance</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Manage key safety programs, including:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Hazard Communication (SDS, labeling, signage)</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Respiratory Protection</li>\r\n\t\t<li>PPE compliance</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Emergency preparedness (fire drills, evacuation plans)</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Inspect and maintain safety equipment (eye wash stations, first aid kits, etc.)</li>\r\n\t<li>Generate and track safety-related work orders</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Training &amp; Engagement</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Support and deliver safety training across shifts</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in Safety Committee initiatives</li>\r\n\t<li>Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching and communication</li>\r\n\t<li>Partner with supervisors and leadership to drive accountability</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Administrative &amp; Reporting</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain accurate and audit-ready safety documentation</li>\r\n\t<li>Track and report safety metrics, trends, and compliance data</li>\r\n\t<li>Support Workers&rsquo; Compensation processes in coordination with HR</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all safety records</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Complete all required company training</li>\r\n\t<li>Comply with all safety and HR policies and procedures</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
