    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated CADD designer to support highly skilled engineering projects. This position will be in our Suffern, NY office location. </p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare detailed civil design drawings and plans for site development projects. </li>\n <li>Work closely with engineers, project managers, and surveyors to create accurate and timely construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.</li>\n <li>Produce site layout, grading, utility, erosion control, drainage plans, profiles, and earthwork for land development projects</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of construction documents, exhibits, and design reports</li>\n <li>Interpret and apply local zoning and engineering codes/regulations</li>\n <li>Coordinate with engineers, survey teams, and project managers to meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Review and update redlines and markups from engineers</li>\n <li>Prepare and submit permit applications in support of the project development, representing our clients</li>\n <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with multiple staff members in a team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Background in land development</li>\n <li>2+ years’ experience</li>\n <li>A strong skill set both with basic AutoCAD and Civil 3D</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Organizational/time management skills</li>\n <li>Limited local travel to client meetings and project sites</li>\n <li>Possess high ethical standards and committed to producing high quality work with a commitment to teamwork, respect, and integrity</li>\n <li>Completion of a CADD training/education program is preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Hourly Rate Range: $33.00 - $39.00 based on experience </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 1,000 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
