RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.</p><p>We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.</p><p>Rogers Group is seeking applicants for the position of <strong>General Labor&nbsp;</strong>to work with road construction and highway paving crews and milling crew in the <strong>Northern Middle Tennessee&nbsp;</strong>area, based out of <strong>Madison, TN.&nbsp;</strong>The successful candidate for this role will be motivated and have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>JOB DETAILS:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Full-Time</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Day- Shift (some night, and weekend work required)</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Aptos&quot;,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;\">Wages starting at $23.00/hr&nbsp;</span></span></li></ul><p><strong>JOB RESPNSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">General laborer position to work on construction projects.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Pushes and pulls asphalt rake to level asphalt to fine grade specifications.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Uses sledge hammer to drive pins, uses pick and shovel to dig.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Hooks up trailers, fastens attachments to equipment.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Flagger duties, sets up traffic control, places barrels and cones.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Smooths&nbsp;freshly poured asphalt, shovels asphalt, or other materials.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Complete labor tasks around the mill.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Operate broom and skid steer to clean up milled surfaces.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Experience operating an asphalt mill and related heavy equipment safely and appropriately for varied conditions and situations.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Perform daily maintenance and safety checks, cleaning, and greasing, etc.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><strong>Opportunities for entry level and experienced asphalt pavers</strong></li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Able to work outdoors in extreme conditions, such as cold, heat, and humidity.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
