    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Operations Manager</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Production, Shipping &amp; Warehouse Start Up</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p>Chemtek is seeking an experienced and motivated manager with the drive and leadership skills to open a new blending and warehouse facility in Waterloo, IA.  This position is key to ensuring our products are manufactured, packaged, and delivered on time—safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This is a \"Hands On\" working supervisor's position where you will not only lead, but work in each role, learning the businss annd buillding your team.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manufacturing &amp; Warehouse Operations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be the \"Go-To\" guy as we start up production and warehouse activities  from an empty building to a working unit. </li>\n<li>Help in procurement, placement and start-up of blending and warehouse operatiojns. </li>\n<li>Hire and supervise a small team of a small team of 2-3 Employees </li>\n<li>Oversee day-to-day manufacturing, warehousing and shipping operations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shipping &amp; Logistics</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all shipping operations to guarantee on-time deliveries.</li>\n<li>Coordinate packaging and quality control to meet customer expectations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety &amp; Quality</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and enforce safety safety protocols.</li>\n<li>Maintain high-quality standards throughout production and shipping.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Customer Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support Chemtek’s <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">“customer first”</span> philosophy by ensuring every order leaves our facility correct, compliant, and on time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5+ years</span> of experience in manufacturing, shipping, or plant operations.<br></li>\n<li>Proven leadership and managerial experience.</li>\n<li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li>\n<li>A hands-on leader who motivates teams and drives continuous improvement.</li>\n<li>A willingess to do wahtever it takes to get the job done.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary </li>\n<li>Health insurance and family expense reimbursement.</li>\n<li>Paid holidays, including 8 days at Christmas.</li>\n<li>PTO for vacation, sick days, and volunteer activities.</li>\n<li>401(k) with company contribution.</li>\n<li>$ 1,000 Sign Sign-On-Bonus for verified experience with Acumatica or E-Workplace Inventory Management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Chemtek is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">family-owned and operated company</span> with nearly 50 years of innovation in the road construction and aviation industries.
