As a Registered Dietitian at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for developing TPN formulas for patients new to TPN therapy and modifying existing TPN formulas in collaboration with our clinical Home Infusion Pharmacist staff. This is a remote position with occasional in-office visits to support and lend expertise to our pharmacy team. Reliable transportation within commuting distance to the Orange and Laguna Hills offices is required.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Schedule Details</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">On-site: Remote</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Monday-Friday, 8 hour shift during business hours.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">TPN Formula Development:</span> Create and customize TPN formulas for patients who are new to TPN therapy, ensuring that each formula meets the unique nutritional requirements of the patient.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Modification of Existing TPN Formulas:</span> Work closely with clinical Home Infusion Pharmacist staff to modify and adjust TPN formulas for existing patients based on their ongoing clinical assessments and changes in their condition.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaboration:</span> Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the office to ensure seamless patient care and optimal nutritional support.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Patient Education:</span> Provide education and guidance to pharmacists and support staff on TPN therapy, ensuring accurate communication to patients regarding their nutritional care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality Assurance:</span> Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities related to TPN therapy to ensure the highest standards of patient care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation:</span> Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including TPN orders, modifications, and clinical notes.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Required Skilled Qualifications/Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Must be a Registered Dietician (RD) with current licensure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietician.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Strong understanding of TPN therapy, including formula development and modification.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with TPN therapy in a home infusion setting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with clinical guidelines and standards for TPN therapy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate staff.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Ability to work independently and manage a diverse patient caseload from the office.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">AmeriPharma’s Mission Statement </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Our goal is to achieve superior clinical and economic outcomes while maintaining the utmost compassion and care for our patients.
