This role is responsible for ensuring accurate cash forecasting, liquidity management, and compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a deep understanding of treasury functions, and a proactive approach to financial risk management. </p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity across all accounts. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p lang=\"en-us\">Responsible for ensuring tax compliance and maintaining working knowledge of payroll taxes, sales taxes, corporate, and other applicable taxes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage banking relationships and ensure optimal utilization of banking services. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Execute wire transfers, ACH payments, and other treasury transactions accurately. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support month-end and year-end close processes related to cash and treasury activities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Analyze and report on cash flow trends, variances, and financial risks. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to support business initiatives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p lang=\"en-us\">This role will directly report to CFO. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain documentation for treasury transactions and support audit requests. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Evaluate and recommend improvements to treasury systems and processes. </p></li></ul><p><br><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CTP certification preferred). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>3–5 years of experience in treasury, taxation, accounting, or corporate finance. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial controls.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP, Vista, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, treasury management software, etc.). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with cash forecasting and liquidity planning is a plus. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Benefits: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Competitive salary based on experience. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Professional development and continuing education opportunities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborative and supportive work environment within a growing company. </p></li></ul><p lang=\"en-us\"></p><p><strong>If you meet the qualifications outlined above and are ready to contribute your skills to the team at Hays Electrical Services, we encourage you to apply.
