Together, we are committed to creating world-class developments, anchored in high quality design, sustainability, and outstanding customer service.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">About the Role &amp; Team</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">As a key member of the Commercial South team and reporting into the Commercial Manager, your primary responsibility will be commercial lead on a project located in Bermondsey called Biscuit Factory. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities: </span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Preparing tenders and detailed scopes of works for project.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Procurement of all contractor trade packages.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Managing contractor accounts to include raising contractor payments, reviewing and assessing variation claims and preparing and settling final accounts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Reviewing drawing changes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Reviewing and approving Site Instructions &amp; CCF’s where appropriate.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Producing valuation reports to advise of any cost movements and reporting to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Implementation of commercial function in line with the Commercial Policies &amp; Procedures Manual.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Attend design team meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Carry out detailed package review meetings &amp; drive value engineering opportunities of design &amp; scope information.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Prepare all contract documentation and ensure accuracy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Financial accountability for the project budget.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Partnership &amp; co-operation with the Project Team for operational and financial delivery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Management of and delegation of work to Junior Members of Site Commercial Team where applicable.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Skills &amp; Experience:</span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Capable of working independently with minimum supervision and as part of the wider project team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate daily with the relevant members of the Technical, Sales, Construction, Buying and Finance teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Very good commercial acumen.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Good Interpersonal skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Very good negotiation skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Good construction knowledge.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What’s in it for you?</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> <br>Ensuring you have a work-life balance and stay healthy and happy is important to London Square.
