    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>The Work</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Cyber Training Range Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the functionality and performance of cyber training range environments that simulate real-world scenarios for cybersecurity testing, training, and research. This role supports the development, deployment, and execution of advanced cyber exercises, ensuring that the range remains fully operational and meets mission-specific requirements. The position requires expertise in systems administration, network management, and cybersecurity technologies, as well as strong coordination and communication skills to support cross-functional teams during training exercises.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position aligns with Cayuse’s core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform cyber training range engineering duties consistent with the Cyber Training Range Engineer labor category.</li>\n <li>Apply IAT Level 3 certification requirements to the engineering support role.</li>\n <li>Support cyber and/or information technology duties and experiences required to build, integrate, and maintain training range capabilities (as applicable).</li>\n <li>Comprehend the 39 IOS mission, the cyber training ranges and Weapon Systems associated with the training requirements.</li>\n <li>Augment and support mission support functions in the areas of course management support, faculty development, planning, project management, administrative support, facility management, cyber range systems, communications and information technology systems, audio visual (AV) systems in unclassified and classified environments.</li>\n <li>Purchase and install CTRE hardware and software at the client’s request. CTRE is essential to conduct psychomotor (hands-on) training for Cyber Weapon Systems (CWS) IQT, and work role training, which is focused on individual and not team or crew training environments.</li>\n <li>Ensure CTRE equipment meets the following system requirements: Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Approved Product List (APL) for unclassified and classified networks, a six-year lifecycle, or higher and takes advantage of available electrical service, and Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) space, without modifying the current building infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Maintain compatibility with current CTRE hardware and software, and the DAFNET while maintaining virtual machine compatibility with the AF Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) fielded CWS and/or Joint platforms and systems and the current curricula, training mission, and mission evaluation lessons.</li>\n <li>Allow and enhance the capability of the course developers and the instructors to provide courseware (cognitive and psychomotor or lecture and hands-on) that meets or exceeds the ACC Training Task List (TTL) or Joint requirements along with the ability to repair/replace components, same day, if required, to ensure continuity of training, while keeping associated costs and training lapse times to a minimum.</li>\n <li>Enable the ability to scale to meet increased tasking TPR at multiple locations and classifications without additional engineering or other building considerations; the system must simultaneously support at least three 30-student classrooms and at least 60 staff members (instruction and development) including but not limited to: at least 30K simultaneous virtual machines,</li>\n <li>Enhance the capability to provision and de-provision a full classroom of 30 students and four instructors, with a minimum of 150 virtual machines, each in an isolated training \"sandbox\" in commensurate with the Director of Operations approved class schedule as well as replicating data across the CTRE mesh network with no additional translation or reprogramming required.</li>\n <li>Enable the ability of current operators to dynamically assist, take-over, or restart any students training environment without disrupting the current classroom lesson for any other student(s), compatibility with the evolution and next generation CTRE mesh environment; and perform live back-up and restore from any node on the mesh network to any other node on the network.</li>\n <li>Support day-to-day range operations and administrative tasks required for training execution (as applicable).</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications – Here’s What You Need</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The qualifications and skills listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the requirements for this position. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities as outlined by the client.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Cyber Training Range Administrator Journeyman:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree.</li>\n   <li>Active Secret Security Clearance is required.</li>\n   <li>IAT Level 2 (CCN/A, GICSP, Sec+, GSEC, SSCP).</li>\n   <li>3-5 years scheduling personnel and resources. Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Cyber Training Range Administrator Senior:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree.</li>\n   <li>Active Secret Security Clearance is required.</li>\n   <li>IAT Level 2 (CCN/A, GICSP, Sec+, GSEC, SSCP).</li>\n   <li>5-7 years scheduling personnel and resources.
