The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring accurate translation of business requirements into scalable data solutions.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Business & Functional Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.</li>\n <li>Translate business needs into functional specifications and data requirements.</li>\n <li>Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and impact analysis.</li>\n <li>Define KPIs, metrics, and reporting needs for business users.</li>\n <li>Prepare BRD, FRD, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.</li>\n <li>Support UAT activities and ensure business sign-off.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with data engineers and ETL developers on data mapping and transformation logic.</li>\n <li>Analyze source systems and define data extraction requirements.</li>\n <li>Understand and contribute to <strong>data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas)</strong>.</li>\n <li>Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality rules.</li>\n <li>Perform data analysis using SQL and support debugging of data issues.</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to data governance and data quality standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential skills</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Functional Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong understanding of <strong>data warehousing concepts (EDW, Data Marts, OLAP)</strong>.</li>\n <li>Experience in requirement documentation (BRD, FRD).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of business domains (Banking, Insurance).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in <strong>SQL (mandatory)</strong>.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>ETL tools</strong> (ODI, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.).</li>\n <li>Exposure to <strong>data modeling tools</strong> (Erwin, PowerDesigner, etc.).</li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>BI/reporting tools</strong> (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.).</li>\n <li>Understanding of <strong>data integration, data lineage, and metadata management</strong>.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired skills</h2>\n<p><strong>Good to Have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with <strong>cloud platforms</strong> (Azure, AWS, GCP – especially data services).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>big data technologies</strong> (Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>Agile/Scrum methodology</strong>.</li>\n <li>Experience in <strong>data governance and compliance frameworks</strong>.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in cross-functional teams.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and data accuracy.</li>\n</ul>",
