    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Operator Field Technician is a temporary assignment position to support and provide operation skills on water and wastewater treatment projects.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidate must have flexible schedule and available on short notice to travel to site.  Good communications skills are essential as this position is remote. While on-site, provide ongoing client support to ensure customer satisfaction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A strong understanding of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SWRO treatment systems is essential along with experience in sewage treatment plants preferably MBR.  The ideal candidate will work hands-on with rotating equipment, control system and chemical handling.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a short-term contract field position with work performed on site, mostly in the Caribbean.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Job Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the setup, installation, and commissioning of water treatment systems at client sites.</li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on water treatment equipment and instrumentation.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.</li>\n<li>Monitor system performance, collect samples, and record operational data.</li>\n<li>Complete client reporting and documentation related to site activities, system performance, and maintenance records.</li>\n<li>Support and follow implementation of safe work practices, including adherence to OSHA standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li>\n<li>Follow and assist in improving existing safe work procedures while contributing to the improvement of field documentation and reporting structure.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate flexibility and a hands-on approach, with a willingness to work across fabrication, installation, commissioning, and ongoing operations as needed.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding system performance and service updates.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate service records, work logs, and equipment checklists.</li>\n<li>Travel to various project sites as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications, Education, and Skills:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical diploma or certification in Environmental Science, Water Treatment, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.</li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a field technician or operations role, preferably in water or environmental services.</li>\n<li>Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with pumps, valves, filtration systems, instrumentation, and control systems.</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.</li>\n<li>Water Treatment Operator Certification</li>\n<li>Knowledge of SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools is an asset.</li>\n<li>OSHA or other relevant safety certifications.</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical software.</li>\n<li>A valid driver's licence, passport, and access to a vehicle.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>   </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Gemini Water LLC:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Gemini Water, a BluMetric Company, founded in 2015, brings over a decade of experience delivering advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions for remote and challenging environments.
