Recovery Care Specialists assist clients in various clinical, nutritional and administrative activities as directed, to ensure optimal client outcome.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Available Part Time Shifts (20+ hours/week):</strong></p>\n\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:square\">\n\t<li>Day Shifts- 6:30am - 6:30pm, every other weekend expectation</li>\n\t<li>Overnight Shifts- 6:30pm - 6:30am, every other weekend expectation</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong><u>Relationships and Contacts</u></strong></p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Within the organization:</em></strong>&nbsp; Maintains frequent and close working relationships with clients, Milieu Director, facility leadership, peers and vendors.&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Outside the organization:</em></strong>&nbsp; May initiate and maintain working relationships with clinical providers, referral partners and vendors as needed and directed.</p>\n\n<p><strong><u>Essential Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:square\">\n\t<li>Assists the daily milieu at Selah House Treatment Center, assisting with program activities, observations, charting progress/improvement/decline, etc.</li>\n\t<li>Consistently maintains the privacy and confidentiality requirements and regulations.</li>\n\t<li>Becomes familiar with the histories and needs of clients and identifies cues and behaviors that may indicate a change in the client&rsquo;s status.</li>\n\t<li>Under the direction of the Lead Recovery Care Specialist provides appropriate emotional support to clients.</li>\n\t<li>Spends one on one time with clients during scheduled activities and leisure time.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Communicates pertinent patient information to the Clinical Program Manager as well as to the treatment team, as appropriate.</li>\n\t<li>Responsible for maintaining proper and timely documentation regarding client&rsquo;s progress.&nbsp; Alerts management and Therapists of client concerns or problems.</li>\n\t<li>Day and evening shift Recovery Care Specialist are required to eat meals with the clients, providing role modeling healthy food and body image behaviors.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Observes client behavior during and after meals.</li>\n\t<li>Assists in various nutritional activities including but not limited to, meal preparation, grocery shopping, meal outings, supervision of exercise and other activities assigned by the clinical staff and/or the Dietitian.</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrates proper food safety and handling standards when preparing/serving meals to the clients.</li>\n\t<li>Assist with housekeeping duties, including cleaning of facilities (i.e. taking out trash, loading and unloading dishwasher, laundry, running errands and other duties as assigned).</li>\n\t<li>Assist with tours for clients, family members, students, visitors and interested parties as requested.</li>\n\t<li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications related to Selah House Mission and population.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n",
