In this role, you will contribute directly to detailed design development and support the build and testing of electronic components, playing an important part in overall project success. Over three decades, our core values have shaped a supportive and creative environment that emphasizes employee engagement, technical excellence, and strong customer relationships. </span></p>\n<p><span>To learn more about who we are and what it’s like to work at GeoSpectrum, we invite you to watch our company video by visiting </span><span><a href=\"https://www.geospectrum.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.geospectrum.ca</a></span>.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop detailed electrical drawings, including wire runs, panel layouts, rack assemblies, and circuit designs.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).</li>\n<li>Draft clear and precise schematics that accurately represent electrical components and connections.</li>\n<li>Support the design, build, and testing of electronic components and sub-assemblies, including wiring harnesses, electronics enclosures, racks, and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).</li>\n<li>Maintain and update project files and technical documentation to support project continuity.</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.</li>\n<li>Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards and internal company guidelines.</li>\n<li>Assist with troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Engineering Technology or a related field.</li>\n<li>A minimum of two years of experience in engineering technology and design.</li>\n<li>Experience using electrical CAD software, including AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks.</li>\n<li>Experience creating electrical assemblies and electronic rack systems.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, wiring schematics, and BOMs.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with practical design testing.</li>\n<li>Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li>\n<li>A strong interest in build and test activities, with a commitment to producing high-quality products.</li>\n<li>Effective teamwork and communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Security Requirements</span></p>\n<p>All candidates must be eligible to apply for and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security Clearances.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Total Rewards </span></p>\n<p>We recognize that our people are our most valuable asset.
