This role supports chemical milling operations and may lead to advancement opportunities such as Chemill Operator or other forge operator roles within the department.</div><p><br></p><p><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><ul><li>Assist with chemical milling preparation, including part identification, tagging, and handling.</li><li>Count, inspect, and prepare metal parts before and after chemill processing.</li><li>Clean and maintain work areas, tanks, racks, and equipment.</li><li>Load and unload parts into chemical baths, rinse tanks, and etching stations according to safety procedures.</li><li>Monitor process flow and communicate abnormalities to operators or supervisors.</li><li>Perform light grinding, masking, or de-masking as needed for part preparation.</li><li>Safely operate basic support equipment such as hoists, wash stations, and drying units.</li><li>Assist in maintaining chemical bath levels and ensuring proper labeling of chemicals.</li><li>Follow all hazardous material handling and PPE requirements in the chemill area.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Experience and Education Required</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Technical Skills&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Ability to lift 40pounds throughout the shift.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read production instructions in English.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Physical Demands</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must be able to stand up to three hours at a time and during an 8-10 hours shift.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to sit, bend, twist, stoop, reach overhead. &nbsp;</li><li>Uses hands to grind metal parts.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work in a heated environment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\">HBD Industries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
