    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Role Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The position is responsible for providing guided nature, birding and wildlife tours.</p>\n<p><strong>What to Expect in the Role:</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Guide nature, birding and wildlife tours.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide routine care of VPS vehicles, including cleaning, filling with fuel, checking tires and oil.</p>\n<p><strong>What We Will Be Needing From You:&nbsp;</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to learn the history of the Ranch and current operations and conduct tours of King Ranch by providing accurate information in an interesting way to our visitors. &nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experienced birder, ability to identify birds on the King Ranch checklist.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Have a general knowledge about area wildlife.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to be courteous towards visitors and staff in a Texas Friendly environment.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Possess excellent customer service skills.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be willing to follow department guidelines for grooming and dress.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must have a valid drivers’ license in good standing, possess the appropriate type driver’s license and can drive tour vehicles in a safe manner.<br>\n &nbsp;</p>",
