This role is responsible for managing 4–5 drilling crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with deep HDD experience, excellent crew management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.</p><h3><br></h3><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Directly supervise and manage 4–5 HDD crews across multiple job sites</li><li>Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily drilling operations to meet production goals</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company standards</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact between crews, project managers, and clients</li><li>Monitor project progress, troubleshoot operational issues, and adjust plans as needed</li><li>Review bore plans, tooling selection, and drilling methods to optimize performance</li><li>Train, mentor, and develop foremen and crew members</li><li>Manage equipment utilization, maintenance coordination, and material needs</li><li>Ensure accurate reporting of production, costs, and job-site documentation</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum 5–10 years of HDD experience, with supervisory or superintendent-level responsibility</li><li>Proven experience managing multiple crews simultaneously</li><li>Strong understanding of HDD equipment, tooling, bore planning, and ground conditions</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and job-site compliance</li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans, profiles, and utility locates</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills</li><li>Willingness to travel and work extended hours as project demands require</li><li>Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, not required)</li></ul><h3>Preferred Experience</h3><ul><li>Large-diameter or long-bore HDD projects</li><li>Utility installation (fiber, power, gas, water, sewer)</li><li>Experience working with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders</li></ul><h3>What EnterSource Offers</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Performance-based incentives</li><li>Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)</li><li>Health, dental, and vision benefits</li><li>Retirement plan options</li><li>Opportunities for growth with a rapidly expanding organization</li></ul><p>EnterSource is an equal opportunity employer.
