Our client list grows steadily because we understand the importance of developing long-term relationships built on trust, performance, and reliability.  See The Bettis Companies in action <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://vimeo.com/327287434\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">here</span></a>.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Overview: </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This individual will be a part of the capital projects team for Bettis Companies.  The capital projects team focuses on installing industrial equipment in asphalt and concrete production facilities.  Projects could range from small plant improvements to erecting, dismantling, and transporting entire asphalt and concrete plants.  The job will also include performing general plant maintenance along with fabrication and welding.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ideal Candidate </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience of maintenance/fabrication in an industrial setting.</li>\n<li>Ability to repair conveyors, mixers, pumps, and valves.</li>\n<li>Experienced with welding, fabrication, and structural construction.</li>\n<li>Clean appearance.</li>\n<li>Drug free.</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license with clean driving record.</li>\n<li>Computer literate.</li>\n<li>Good background in math.</li>\n<li>Good communication skills.</li>\n<li>Team player.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understands specifications, standards, and can read plan sets effectively.</li>\n<li>Performs welding, piping, maintenance, electrical, foundation, carpentry, and controls work as required.</li>\n<li>Understands basic plant mechanical systems including piping, hydraulics, and structures.</li>\n<li>Understands basic plant electrical and controls systems including single and three phase electricity.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform welding (utilizing both GMAW and SMAW) and general fabrication.</li>\n<li>Develop strong working relationships with coworkers.</li>\n<li>Is a productive team member that supports the team by going where needed, assisting where needed, and maintains good working relationships (coworkers, management, and external agencies and vendors).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Duties</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements and Education</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over 18 years of age</li>\n<li>Eligible to work in the United States</li>\n<li>Must be able to work flexible hours.  40+ hours per week.
