    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Network Engineer, North Based</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Network Engineer to join our Professional Services team. This is a hands-on delivery role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality network solutions across a broad range of customer projects and programmes.</p>\n<p>You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, including discovery, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and technical assurance. The role requires strong multi-vendor networking expertise and the ability to work effectively within customer environments, both remotely and on-site.</p>\n<p>Working closely with Project Managers, Programme Leads, Managed Services, and wider technical teams, you will help deliver robust, scalable, and secure network solutions for enterprise customers across the UK.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver enterprise network solutions across multiple customer projects and programmes</li>\n<li>Support technical discovery workshops to understand customer requirements and existing environments</li>\n<li>Contribute to and produce high-level and low-level network designs</li>\n<li>Lead and execute implementation activities remotely and on customer sites</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot complex network and firewall issues across multi-vendor environments</li>\n<li>Provide technical assurance during key delivery milestones including migrations, transitions, and go-lives</li>\n<li>Work closely with Project Managers and Programme Leads to ensure successful project delivery</li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams including Microsoft Practice, Managed Services, and Service Transition</li>\n<li>Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover activities into support teams</li>\n<li>Assist with pre-sales activities and solution shaping where required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">S</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">kills &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies including LAN, WAN, and WLAN</li>\n<li>Solid routing and switching knowledge including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and segmentation</li>\n<li>Understanding of modern network architectures such as VXLAN and EVPN</li>\n<li>Good understanding of network security principles and firewall technologies</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting multi-vendor network environments</li>\n<li>Ability to work from and contribute to HLDs and LLDs</li>\n<li>Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills in live customer environments</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li>\n<li>Proven experience delivering network solutions within a Professional Services or project delivery environment</li>\n<li>Strong hands-on experience with at least two of the following vendors:\n<ul>\n<li>Juniper Networks</li>\n<li>Cisco Systems</li>\n<li>Palo Alto Networks</li>\n<li>Hewlett Packard Enterprise (Aruba)</li>\n<li>Cato Networks</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with data centre networking and fabric-based solutions</li>\n<li>Understanding of cloud networking and hybrid connectivity models</li>\n<li>Familiarity with NAC technologies such as Aruba ClearPass</li>\n<li>Awareness of SASE and cloud-delivered networking solutions</li>\n<li>Experience supporting pre-sales and solution design activities</li>\n<li>Experience delivering large-scale or multi-site transformation projects</li>\n<li>Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIS/JNCIP, PCNSE, or Aruba certifications</li>\n<li>Experience working in secure or regulated environments including defence, government, or nuclear sectors</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Attributes</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer-focused with a strong delivery mindset</li>\n<li>Proactive and able to take ownership of technical outcomes</li>\n<li>Comfortable working within fast-paced project environments</li>\n<li>Flexible and willing to travel across the UK and work on customer sites</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality</li>\n<li>Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Able to manage multiple priorities across different projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness to travel regularly across the UK</li>\n<li>Ability to support occasional out-of-hours delivery activities including migrations and go-lives</li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence</li>\n<li>Eligible to work in the UK</li>\n<li>Willingness to undergo and maintain security clearance where required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active UK Security Clearance (SC or above)</li>\n<li>Flexibility to travel at short notice based on project requirements</li>\n<li>Experience supporting critical delivery phases and extended-hours activities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
