Tours buildings regularly to observe cleaning crews in action and ensures all instructions are followed and safety rules observed. Orients and trains new employees in proper cleaning procedures. Performs duties of subordinate personnel.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> High School/GED required.</p>\n<p><strong> Experience: </strong>Six to twelve months related work experience necessary to gain knowledge of housekeeping processes, learn to operate sanitation equipment and become familiar with materials and supplies utilized in institutional cleaning. Prefer previous experience as Housekeeping.</p>\n<p><strong> Additional Skills/Abilities:</strong> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.</p>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p><strong>DeKalb Regional Medical Center</strong> celebrated its 35th anniversary in October 2021. In fall of 2023, DeKalb Regional was one of seven hospitals in Alabama to receive an “A” grade from The Leapfrog Group. </p>\n<p>DeKalb Regional Medical Center has 500 employees and more than 100 members of the medical staff.</p>",
