    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">The newly created Company, FerroWorks, has locations in Pittsburgh, McKees Rocks, and Kutztown, PA including McConway and Torley and Standard Forged, which have been in continuous operations since 1869, the same year the first US transcontinental railroad was completed. &nbsp;We have been able to meet the needs of our customers with a steady, dependable and economical supply of high-quality railroad industry products. &nbsp;As McConway is the original designers of the first standard automatic coupler, continued innovation and craftsmanship have and has led to a product line that includes every ARR approved coupler as well as custom coupler solutions, which are all proudly cast in the US.</p><p>McConway &amp; Torley is currently searching for <strong>Equipment Tech/Millwright&nbsp;</strong>to join our team. As <strong>Millwright</strong> you will perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to production and mechanical equipment and facility.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Pittsburgh, PA</p><p><strong>Shift: This will be a Weekend Position, We can be flexible on hours and days.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Capable of servicing and repairing most common industrial equipment, such as grinders, forklifts, cranes, welders, lathes, etc.</li><li>Capable of performing routine maintenance operations on equipment, such as oil changes, greasing, adjustments and minor repairs.</li><li>Capable of performing routine electrical repairs and some troubleshooting of motor controls.</li><li>Capable of basic repairs of plumbing and heating systems.</li><li>Capable of fabricating hardware that may be required to support the maintenance operation.</li><li>Observe all company rules and regulations</li><li>Must be able to work on elevated platforms</li><li>Must be willing to flexible with assignments and shifts</li><li>Report any abnormal conditions to lead person or supervisor</li><li>Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll need:</strong></p><ul><li>At least 5 years of Maintenance Experience, preferably in a heavy industrial setting</li><li>High school diploma</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.</li><li>This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays</li><li>Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant</li></ul><p><strong>Safety Activities:</strong></p><ul><li>Be aware of and observe all safety practices.
