Committed to excellence, we are continuously seeking qualified individuals who exhibit a strong work ethic and a passion for joining a successful team.</em></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>As a Fabrication Assembly Helper, you will work under the supervision of the Fabrication Lead Man to support and contribute to the fabrication of structural or sheet metal products. Your role will involve a variety of tasks aimed at assisting in the fabrication process, including lifting, positioning, and removing workpieces from machines, as well as performing other duties as assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in layout by holding tape and rods and marking reference points as directed.</li><li>Safely load, stack, and transport stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or truck.</li><li>Prepare workpieces for moving by crane or jib by attaching rope or grappling equipment as required.</li><li>Clean and scrape metal surfaces in preparation for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping, utilizing scraping tools, abrasives, or solvent baths.</li><li>Apply paint to metal stocks using appropriate tools such as paintbrushes.</li><li>Collect and transport scrap materials from work areas as needed.</li><li>Perform additional duties within the scope of helper duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.</li></ul><p><strong>Special Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in reading a tape measure.</li><li>Ability to use a variety of hand tools, including drills, grinders, rivet guns, etc.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Experience Highly Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Two to Four years of Sheet Metal or Fabrication</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p><em>We value our team members and offer competitive benefits, including:</em></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>401K with company match</li><li>Medical insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision plan</li><li>Prescription plan</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance and disability coverage</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Referral Program</li></ul><p><strong>Join Us:</strong></p><ul><li>If you have a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence, and the desire to be part of a winning team, we invite you to apply and embark on a rewarding career with Custom Air Products &amp; Services, Inc.</li><li>Be part of a company that values your contributions and invests in your future.
