Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, administering medications, and direct care duties as needed and in accordance with established policies and procedures. The MA will complete a training program as directed by the MA Coordinator.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">CLINICAL:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Room patients which includes obtaining vital signs, verifying medications (medication reconciliation), medical history, and obtaining other pertinent information.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist physicians and nurses as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform EKG’s.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform peak flows/spirometry.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Administer O2 as directed by provider.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Administer respiratory treatments as directed by provider.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform in-office labs and UDS.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform routine prescription refills under the supervision of the MA Lead.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Enter orders for medication and labs as directed by provider.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Scrub charts/huddle with provider and team daily.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform normal lab call backs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Blood draws, if competency has been signed off.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Injections and immunization administration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist with procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Non-complicated wound care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Suture/staple removal AFTER seen by provider.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Stock and clean rooms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Packaging instruments for the Autoclave.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Schedule patients for follow-up per provider.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist team with desktop items.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Answer telephone calls.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Additional duties as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">NON-CLINICAL:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Expected to be prepared to begin each shift at the scheduled time, meet attendance standards and work the hours necessary to perform the essential functions of the jobs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Conform to safety work ethics, be flexible and show dedication to the position and community</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrate a positive attitude, is respectful and possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity with all clients, co-workers, and others.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrate a keen understanding of HIPAA regulations and uphold the confidentiality of patient information at all times.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Incumbents are required to have demonstrated basic knowledge and abilities in the following areas:<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">High school graduate or equivalent education.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Minimum 1-year experience in Hospital or Clinical setting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The ability to obtain National Certification within two years of date of hire with Aviva Health.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Current BLS certification (maintaining current certification is required for continued employment Aviva Health).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proven leadership experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently, detail oriented, organized, work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
