    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking to have an ER RN to join our Emergency Department full time!</span><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This position can progress into a leadership role of Charge RN position.<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">  </span></span></span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-weight: bold\">$8/HR Specialty Diff!</span><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The ER RN provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency setting.  This position has a leadership role in assessing and organizing the care and flow of the patients and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.  The RN provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility with a minimum of supervision. This position is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system and determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. This includes pediatric, geriatric and the general population considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient’s age.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Actively seeks opportunities to offer task assistance to all CPMC Team Members as appropriate.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes and care plan to ensure optimal patient care and documents per policy.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Administers medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition. Follows the six (6) medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Formulates a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching as appropriate.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assists providers with procedures and performs services requiring technical and manual skills.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Participates in meetings, committees, and continuing education to improve individual, departmental, and organization performance. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performs waived testing (point of care) per Clinical Laboratory’s and unit’s policies and procedures. Interprets results of waived tests: taking appropriate action on waived tests results.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Coordinates and supervises patient care as necessary.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<p>Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and social skills.</p>\n<p>Possess excellent prioritization, organization and time management skills.</p>\n<p>Exhibit very good computer skills requiring order entry and patient registration applications.</p>\n<p>Demonstrates flexibility and availability in scheduling to accommodate needs and demands of the department.</p>\n<p>Functions independently with self-confidence in a highly stressful environment while practicing within scope of practice.
