Their work is essential to maintaining an efficient, organized work crew and project site. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Clears and prepares construction sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Selective demolition of buildings and other structures using hand tools and various types of equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Assist craft workers (carpenters, iron workers, etc.) as directed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Dig pits, trenches, and foundations, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, rakes, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Mobilize and organizes tools, equipment, and supplies to and from construction sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Operate tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, concrete mixers, rotary-hammers, concrete vibrators, shovels, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Assemble scaffold, ladders, and other tools and equipment to provide access for workers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Position structural components such as structural steel or pre-cast concrete.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Build, position, dismantle, and clean concrete formwork.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Shovel, mix, and place concrete.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Mix ingredients to create compounds or covering or cleaning surfaces.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces, such as concrete or wood.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Tend to tools and equipment – lubricate, clean, and repair.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Direct traffic (flagging) to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists, and work crew.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Clean construction sites during and at conclusion of construction activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Work in varied and inclement weather conditions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Provide reliable transportation to and from assigned varied work sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 15px\">Ability to identify and remain aware of utilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;
