The Automation & AI Architect partners with operational and clinical leaders to analyze inefficient processes, redesign workflows, and champion initiatives that deliver measurable value. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Creates and maintains the Automation & AI Strategy and Roadmap for Northside Hospital </li>\n<li>Identifies operational processes suitable for automation, AI augmentation, or workflow redesign </li>\n<li>Benchmark AI opportunities in healthcare to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. </li>\n<li>Partners with departments to transform manual workflows using automation technology </li>\n<li>Conducts assessments of automation and AI opportunities; recommends prioritized initiatives based on quantifiable value </li>\n<li>Sponsors automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce cost, and eliminate manual or repetitive tasks </li>\n<li>Maintains awareness of current automation and AI technologies, trends, and platform capabilities </li>\n<li>Mobilizes approved initiatives through existing program delivery structures and collaborates with project teams throughout execution </li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED</strong> </p>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related technical field. (Equivalent experience may substitute.)</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of automation tools, AI/ML platforms, workflow tools, RPA technology, and data analytics concepts</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with executives, operational leaders, and technical teams</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies</li>\n<li>Ability to analyze workflows and identify automation opportunities with measurable outcomes</li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of hospital operations</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED:</strong></p>\n<li>Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field</li>\n<li>Five (5) years of experience in automation, AI, process engineering, or related technology fields</li>\n<li>Certifications in automation platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate), AI/ML, or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)</li>\n<li>Experience working in a healthcare environment</li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills</li>\n<li>Experience leading crossfunctional automation initiatives</li>\n<li>Project lead or coordination experience</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>8a-5p",
