    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are looking for a skilled and motivated <strong>Equipment Operator</strong> to join our team on the Titan Mid-Atlantic Aggregate Troutville Plant team. This position will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, crusher and screening equipment and participating in all aspects of the daily operation.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, front-end loaders, and water trucks.</li>\n <li>Operate and monitor portable crushing plants, conveyors, and related equipment to ensure consistent production and product quality.</li>\n <li>Conduct visual inspections of plant feed, crushers, conveyors, and screen decks; ensure the crusher is level and operating properly.</li>\n <li>Maintain site cleanliness; perform general labor including shoveling in and around belts, crushers, and stockpiles.</li>\n <li>Perform daily equipment maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning; report mechanical issues or needed wear parts to the foreman promptly.</li>\n <li>Adjust crusher settings to optimize performance, gradation, and material quality; collect material samples for testing as required.</li>\n <li>Monitor dust emissions and apply dust suppression measures as needed.</li>\n <li>Perform tracked conveyor moves and other material handling adjustments as directed.</li>\n <li>Conduct daily pre- and post-shift safety inspections and complete all required documentation (e.g., equipment logs, activity reports, inspections).</li>\n <li>Assist in daily plant and pit operations, including setup, maintenance, and production support.</li>\n <li>Be available for weekend and/or after-hours work as business needs dictate.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Previous crusher operation experience required</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experienced Excavator Operator experience preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Prior experience in mining, aggregates, or construction environments preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous crushing or screening plant experience considered an asset.</li>\n <li>Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of surface mining, sand production, and aggregate processing practices.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of workplace safety practices and MSHA/OSHA regulations.</li>\n <li>Welding and torch cutting experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather, noisy, and dusty environments.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.</li>\n</ul>",
